The Efest iMate R4 is a smart four-bay battery charger designed to keep your rechargeable batteries topped up and ready for action. Each slot works independently, so you can charge different compatible battery sizes and types at the same time without turning it into a science experiment.

With a compatible QC power source, it can deliver up to 3A to a single battery for faster charging, automatically adjusting the power as more bays are filled. The clear display shows charging progress for each battery, while automatic battery recognition and built-in safety protections help keep everything running smoothly.

It supports a wide range of Li-ion, IMR, Ni-MH and Ni-Cd batteries, including popular 18650, 21700, AA and AAA sizes. In short: four bays, plenty of brains, and no need to babysit your batteries while they recharge.

Description

The Efest iMate R4 is a versatile four-bay charger that helps keep several rechargeable batteries ready without complicated setup. Each slot operates independently, allowing different compatible battery sizes and chemistries to be charged together, while the display provides an easy view of battery status and charging progress.

When connected to a compatible QC power source, the charger can deliver up to 3A to a single battery for faster turnaround. It automatically adjusts the available charging current when additional bays are occupied and can also use a standard USB power source when maximum charging speed is not required. Automatic battery recognition and built-in electrical protections make it suitable for convenient everyday charging.

  • Charging bays: Four independently monitored battery slots.
  • Quick-charge current: Up to 3A for one battery, 2A per battery for two batteries or 1A per battery when all four bays are occupied.
  • Standard charging current: Up to 2A for one battery, 1A per battery for two batteries or 0.5A per battery when charging four batteries.
  • Maximum input power: Supports QC charging at up to 18W.
  • Battery compatibility: Supports rechargeable 3.6V and 3.7V lithium-ion and IMR batteries, including 10440, 14500, 16340, 17340, 18350, 18490, 18500, 18650, 20700, 21700, 26500 and 26650 sizes.
  • Ni-MH/Ni-Cd compatibility: Supports compatible rechargeable AA and AAA batteries.
  • Automatic recognition: Identifies compatible battery chemistry and switches to the appropriate charging mode automatically.
  • Status display: Shows the charging level and operating status of each installed battery.
  • Low-voltage activation: Can attempt to reactivate compatible deeply discharged batteries below approximately 2.9V.
  • Automatic charging control: Lithium-ion charging stops at approximately 4.20V.
  • Safety protection: Includes reverse-polarity, short-circuit, overcharge and over-discharge protection.
  • Construction: Durable flame-retardant ABS housing with spring-loaded battery contacts.
